La Pedriza Part II

I still haven't made any films since upgrading to better equiptment (HD and all that) as I've decided to go through all my old stuff before really diving in. So I'm still filtering through old footage and throwing together little films that I'm fully aware may turn out to be sub-par. So it goes. Here is what I expect to be the last from the Spain trip of last Spring. Enjoy

Spain Pics: La Pedriza

La Pedriza is "de puta madre". Escorial and Zarzalejos are good but it's the endless granite boulders of Pedriza that keeps bringing me back to Spain. An extensive national park that is more well known for trad and sport, Pedriza holds an impressive amount of bouldering. The development is mostly limited to areas close to the car but the granite extend for miles and anyone willing walk has an unlimited supply of fa's. It's my favorite area in Spain and, as always, I can't wait to go back.

Spain Update

The weather has been perfect and the climbing is incredible. I´ve climbed 9 out of 10 days and it looks like a planned off day will be postponed by the prospect of a new area. I can´t help myself.
Here´s a couple pics from yesterday.

La Pedriza can be unforgiving after multiple days of climbing and tape becomes your new best friend.

David wonders if a little more tape can get him up the next problem.
